Each perfume oil is made with the highest amount of natural and organic ingredients possible and as a result, the color, consistency, and fragrance may vary. These variations do not affect the efficacy of the product and only reflect the possible variations of the natural sources. Natural fragrances blend with your own body chemistry and will smell different on each person who wears them.

Vegan friendly though a small percentage of beeswax is used.

Certified Organic Simmondisa Chinesis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride(coconut) Oil, Natural & Organic Fragrance (No synthetic fragrance, preservatives or artificial colors. 100% pure plant essences), Cymbidium Grandiflorum (Orchid) Flower Extract, Tocopherol (GMO free from a Plant Source)

95% of chemicals used in fragrances are synthetic compounds derived from petroleum. They include benzene derivatives (used as an additive in gasoline and a sweet-smelling perfume ingredient), Propylene glycol (used as an ingredient in antifreeze and widely used in the perfume industry), Phthalates (Plasticizer used primarily in vinyl and also a perfume fixative), and many other known toxins and sensitizers.

The perfume industry is self-regulated.  There is no requirement for ingredient or product safety testing before they are sold.  Fragrant ingredients are considered “trade secrets” so there is no requirement for ingredient disclosure.

Perfume making began in ancient Iran and Egypt where the process of extracting oils from flowers began.  The art of distilling and blending aromas was refined by the Romans.  But the first modern perfume, made of scented oils and blended in an alcohol solution was not created until 1370 by a perfumer in the Hungarian Empire.

The perfume industry reached an apex from the 16th to the 18th century in Paris, France where the recipes for fine perfumes were crafted and carefully guarded.  Perfume making was an artistic endeavor pursued by master craftsmen who blended the oils of fragrant florals, sweet fruits, exotic grasses, rare woods and aromatic spices from around the world.

The first 100% synthetic perfumes did not appear until the twentieth century when Coco Channel created Channel No. 5.  The phenomenal success of Channel No 5 prompted most perfumers to abandon natural fragrance ingredients for synthetic ones and the perfume industry went the way of commercial farming.  Instead of artisan cheeses, we are sold a beautifully packaged Velveeta.
The perfume industry no longer sells scents but imagery and lifestyle.  Instead of investing in the more expensive natural ingredients, they spend their money on advertising and packaging.  We are expected to buy a perfume, not because it smells good, but because of the model on the cover and the ornate bottle that holds the otherwise cheap ingredients.

But a handful of artists have revived the fine art of perfume making.  These artisan perfumes appeal to a growing group of connoisseurs searching for beautiful fragrances that are not harmful to themselves or the environment.

Natural perfumes are never overpowering.  A natural perfume is subtle.  A natural perfume will blend with your unique body chemistry.   It will smell different on everyone who wears it.  Natural perfumes can be layered and blended together allowing you to create your own personal statement each day.  They do not contain synthetic petroleum based ingredients to extend the fragrance on your skin.  You may need to reapply after several hours.

There may be subtle variances in the color, consistency, and fragrance of each batch depending seasonal growing conditions.
