Cleansers often contain harsh foaming agents and detergents like DEA and SLS which can sap the moisture from your skin.  Many cleansing lotions use mineral oil which coast the skin like plastic to give a soft feeling.  To remove the dirt and grime they use chemical solvents that can cause redness, burning, itching, or skin discoloration.  Common chemical preservatives are known carcinogens or endocrine disruptors.  The FDA does not require any safety testing of ingredients before putting products on the shelf and manufacturers aren’t required to report cosmetic related injuries.  Yet these products go on the largest organ on our skin and are absorbed directly into our blood stream.  The chemicals from these cosmetics can be found in our blood, urine, and fat tissue.  Our products and our customers adhere to the precautionary principle.  If there is a risk, we don’t put it in.  Especially when safe, effective, beautiful alternatives are available.

Use every morning and night. Wet face and neck then cleanse in circular upward motion. Our innovative all natural preservative system is stable and broad based but the product should be stored at room temperature and used within 6 to 12 months of opening.

We fully disclose all of our ingredients.
Organic Aloe Vera Juice (Aloe barbadensis)
Aloe vera improves hydration is soothing and healing to all skin types. Chemical analysis has shown the presence of mucopolysacharides, a natural moisturizing factor. Has renown healing properties, anti-inflammatory and can soothe the skin and help heal cuts, grazes, burns and insect bites. Has been used as early as 1500 BC in Egypt for skin care.
Organic Olive Oil (Olea europaea)
Olive oil is obtained by crushing and pressing the fruit of the olive tree.  Contains protein, minerals and vitamins. It has superior penetrating power. Olive oil softens the skin, has superior moisturizing effect on the upper layer of the skin and reduces scars.
Organic Rooibos Tea Extract (Aspalathus linearis)
Rooibos is used to help skin problems, such as eczema or acne. Rooibos Extract has anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and Free Radical Scavenging properties, based partly on its unique flavonoid composition including Aspalathin.
Emulsifying Wax NF (Polawax)
Plant based, used to create a bond between water and oil. A critical ingredient in lotions and cream since there is no other natural product that can create a smooth texture. An emulsifier is a chemical compound that joins oil and water and forms a stable mixture.
Kosher Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable Glycerin is obtained by adding alkalies to fats and fixed oils. Glycerin is a soothing, humectant which draws moisture from the air to the skin. Glycerin is an emollient, which makes the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce rough feeling, cracking and irritation. Nontoxic, nonirritating and nonallergenic.
MSM  (Methylsulfonylmethane)
The latest darling of the natural products industry.  MSM is a naturally occurring nutrient found in plants, meats, dairy products, fruits, and vegetables. It is a part of a normal diet (though it has also become popular as a supplement). MSM supplies sulfur to the body which allows it to heal itself. MSM is anti-inflamatory and anti-microbial. MSM feeds the formation of collagen and elastin while preventing and reducing cross-linking between cells, which is the primary cause of wrinkles and scar tissue. MSM is a natural sulfur compound that contributes to healthy skin, hair and nails. MSM has been used orally and topically to aid skin disorders. When used topically, in the form of a cream or lotion, sulfur is helpful in treating skin disorders including acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, dandruff, scabies, diaper rash and certain fungal infections.
DMAE (Dimethylamino Ethanol)
Another current favorite of the natural products industry in skin care and in health supplements.  DMAE is a natural amino alcohol found in fish, salmon, and especially sardines. The human brain maintains a small amount of DMAE, which plays various crucial functions. DMAE protects the integrity of cell membranes, the deterioration of which can lead to premature aging. One of DMAEs most promising benefits is that, by stopping the manufacture of arachidonic acid, which can lead to wrinkles and aging of the skin, DMAE promotes healthy skin. DMAE used to stop arachidonic acid production can be either taken internally as a nutritional supplement, or applied as a topical cream
Organic Green and White Tea Extract (Camellia sinensis)
White and green tea comes from the same plant Camellia sinensis plant. Tea is made from the youngest and most tender leaves; harvested from the top of the bush, these leaves represent the most nutrient rich part of the plant constituents of tea. White tea is produced by cultivating the silvery-white down young leaves and buds of the Camellia sinensis plant that are then bake dried.  Green tea is produced by steaming the fresh cut camellia sinensis, which inactivates the enzymes that would otherwise oxidize the plant material.  Green tea is well known for its antioxidant properties, which prevents the degradation of cell membranes by neutralizing the spread of free radicals.  Green tea has 20 times the antioxidant properties of Vitamin E, 6 times the antioxidant effectiveness of black tea.  Green tea suppresses inflammation and reduces irritation.  Scientists at the University Hospitals of Cleveland (UHC) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) found that ingredients in green tea decreased the direct effects of sunburn.  Scientists at the University Hospitals of Cleveland (UHC) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) recently proved that topical application of white tea is effective in boosting the immune function of skin cells and protecting them against the damaging effects of sun exposure. White tea was found to protect the skin from oxidative stress and immune cell damage.  Elma Baron, MD, is Director of the Skin Study Center at UHC and CWRU. "We found the application of white tea extract protects critical elements of the skin's immune system," Dr. Baron says. "Similar to the way oxidation causes a car to rust, oxidative stress of the skin causes a breakdown in cellular strength and function. The white tea extract protects against this stress. This study further demonstrates the importance of researching how plant products can actually protect the skin."

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
Acts as a free radical scavenger, hinders the oxidizing process in the skin and promotes soft and supple skin. As an antioxidant it defends the skin. Helpful in reducing scars and promotes healing. Acts as a natural preservative for products.
Xanthan Gum (Polysaccharide gum)
Xanthan gum is a polysaccharide (natural sugar) fermented from corn sugar. Often used in the food industry to thicken and stabilize products. It can be added to thicken a cosmetic product.
Vitamin C Ester (Ascorbyl Palmitate)
A salt of ascorbic acid. It is used as a preservative and antioxidant to prevent rancidity. Vitamin C is thought to prevent collagen break down and help combat the signs of aging. As an antioxidant it is believed to remove the free radicals that cells produce. Free radicals have been associated with skin cancer and premature skin aging due to sun exposure. Some experts believe antioxidants are the most vital weapons in the fight against aging. Most of the damage of our skin is caused by a free-radical assault from smoke, pollution and UV rays. Free radicals then turn the oils of our skin rancid, which damages the collagen. Collagen is the protein fibers that serve as the building blocks of our skin. Antioxidants are used in skin care products to neutralize free radicals before they ravage the skin. Topical vitamin C may help lighten solar lentigos and melasma. Some studies have shown that topical vitamin C provides additional protection against the harmful effects of the sun. Said to prevent collagen breakdown, which would aid in combating aging. Duke University found that adding Vitamin C and E to sunscreens protects against UVB radiation.

Panthenol (Vitamin B Complex)
Good for human tissues, used in skin and hair products. A vitamin B-complex group which provides cumulative conditioning effects after extended and regular use.  It is absorbed quickly by the hair to provide moisture regardless of atmospheric conditions.
Vitamin A (Palmitate)
Palmitate is a mixture of solid organic acids obtained from fats. First isolated in 1909 from egg yolk. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that aids in the removal of free radicals that cells produce. Research shows that vitamin A encourages collagen production in the dermis, which causes the middle layers to plump out and efficiently retain moisture.
Rosemary Oleoresin Extract(Rosmarinus Officinalis)
Contains antioxidants which are oil soluble. Its preservative value has made it a mainstay in herbal medicine. It is made of oil soluble antioxidant compounds derived from the herb rosemary. As a natural preservative, it prevents rancidity in which vegetable/plant oils have been made.

Neem (Azadriachta indica)
Oil Used widely in India as an antibacterial, antiviral. antifungal, antiseptic, antiparasitic agent in toiletries, soap, toothpaste and skin/hair care products.
